Infradash

What is Infradash?

The infrastructure dashboard (or ‘infradash’ for short) is an online tool to allow IT Trainees, LTSTs, IT Managers, principals and the like to get an overview of the important network equipment at a school and see its current status. This goes from the school’s router (that connects the school to the internet and the rest of CSPD's network) out to the wireless access points (APs) in rooms.

How do I use it?

You can access the page by navigating to:

Please ensure you replace AGEID with your school's AGEID.

Once on the page you will be presented with a single page overview of the status of the school’s network.

On the left of the page is a segmented circle that shows the status of network devices starting with the router at the center and moving out to the APs on the outside of the circle.

These segments in the outer ring represent APs. Green means the AP appears to be fine.

APs are situated one ring out from the switch they are attached to.

Clicking on any of the segments on the left hand side of the screen will select it and give you more details about that device on the bottom right corner of the screen.

Looking at the right hand side of the page it shows the summary of network switches and APs at the top. You can roll the cursor over the boxes under each of those headings to see what they represent.
