What is iPadOS?
iPadOS is a new OS created by apple specifically made for iPads. The new OS has been designed to make multitasking, managing files and using the apple pencil, easier.
The home screen
iPadOS will display apps as it always has but there is also a new feature called "Today View".

The files app
The iPad files app will be new and improved allowing for the import and export of files from USB drives, SMB file servers and SD cards. iPadOS gives you the ability to zip and unzip files from your iPad aswell as being able make simple edits to PDF files.
Apple Pencil
iPadOS is designed to be easier to use with the apple pencil. While using iPadOS you will be able to write notes on web pages and send them out through email. This tool will be easily accessible by a swipe from the corner of the screen.
The apple pencil will also be easier to draw with due to the newly designed, easy to use drawing palette.
Multitasking
iPadOS will provide you with a split view feature which will allow you to display two different apps on the screen at the same time. The apps can be easily swapped between with just a swipe.
